jg7 - just the grid #7 - crowdsource the clues!

let's have some crossword fun together! "just the grid" is where we create a crossword grid and then ask people to submit clues. 

if you're new to making crosswords, this is a great way to give clue-writing a try, without having to clue an entire puzzle. 

and if you're a pro at making crosswords, this is a great way to show off your cluing skills!

so here's what you need to get started:

  • click here to access the google form where you can submit clues for up to five entries (feel free to do this multiple times if you'd like to submit more than five). please submit your clues by the end of the day Saturday, 8/17  Tuesday, 8/20.
    • (if you're a new constructor and you'd like feedback on your submissions, you can let us know via the form -- after the twitch stream, I will email you comments)
  • on Sunday, 8/18, at 7pm eastern, update: on Wednesday, 8/21, at 6pm eastern, Rachel and I will do a twitch livestream, in which we will review the submitted clues and make a completed puzzle together!
