Hello! Here's a themeless puzzle dedicated to my dog Hazel, who is a boxer/pit bull (/shark) mix, which is how I justify including the clue [Boxer mix?] for 20A even though I know it doesn't really work. But how can you resist THAT FACE???

As always, thanks to clr and Brooke for their invaluable test-solving feedback that vastly improved the puzzle, and thanks to a certain unnamed publication for rejecting this grid so I could make the clues much more fun and then share it with you here.
